NSK In-House Safety Seminar
New Shipping Kaisha, Ltd. and Bridge Marine Corp. successfully held an in-house safety seminar for waiting crew on May 31 and June 1, 2023 at the AMOSUP Manila, Philippines. Crew members are grateful for resuming this seminar, which had been halted last Sept. 20 and 21, 2017 due some circumstances and also due to Covid-19 pandemic. During these two-day seminars, the crew who attended gained the words and knowledge shared by our panel speakers. With the participation of the third-party lecturer, attendees also learned how to overcome the mental health issues and develop resilience in any situation while aboard the vessel. In the event that P&I matters would arise during their tenure on-board the vessel, they were also guided by the local correspondence on how to deal with and avoid the ambulance chasers, who always wanted to earn money from the crew members who suffered illness.
